Sneaker Freaker x Le Coq Sportif Flash “Summer Bay”

 

Stepping outside the confines of the oft-used running footwear silhouettes and brands, Sneaker Freaker taps a surprising partner, Le Coq Sportif for a retro running shoe collaboration this season. The “Flash” — originally released as Le Coq Sportif’s flagship runner model in 1990, has seen a slight resurgence as of late among the sneakerhead community. Building on this classic model, the Sneaker Freaker aligned to curate a special “Summer Bay” iteration that sees hits of tonal light “Cornflour” blue and pastel “Banana” yellow strewn throughout the majority of the neoprene and suede upper. While further release pricing and stockists are yet to be announced, Sneaker Freaker is stating a July 2013 release date globally.
