Fred Perry Laurel Wreath 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

 

1980′s graphic design was the name of the game for this season’s Fred Perry Laurel Wreath collection. The Spring/Summer 2013 collection pays homage to the likes of Peter Saville (designer of the Unknown Pleasures cover), Malcolm Garrett, and the sense of booming technology at the time, all the while maintaining a contemporary edge. Dashed and dot prints are recurring throughout the collection, referencing early computer bits. Neutral colors in the collection are contrasted with bold stripe patterns, and when paired with the slim silhouettes of Fred Perry shirting, offer clean, contemporary looks.
