Japanese fashion mainstay SHIPS again flaunts a unique range via its sub-label SHIPS JET BLUE, aptly applying high-end textiles onto a blend of classic and street-inspired silhouettes. Adapting blazers, tapered shorts, pants and voluminous pullovers with a variety of summer hues and floral patterns, the 2013 spring/summer lookbook shows the imprint’s sensibility in presenting alluring textiles without over stepping the mark.  Elsewhere, monotone shawls, striped tees and colorblock sweaters offer more subtle options. Finished with a whimsical range of hats and beanies, the cheerful collection manages to merge texture, pattern and cut to great effect.
