mita x Nike Air Max 95 “Prototype”

Following the release of Engineered Mesh and OG editions in recent months, the iconic “Neon” colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 returns as the subject of a collaborative release alongside Japan’s mita. Based on an unreleased sample from designer Sergio Lozano that was featured in the now defunct streetwear publication Boon Magazine, the mita x Nike Air Max 95 “Prototype” sees the typically white laces, lining and neoprene tongue all done up in black while “UENO” appears embroidered on the inside of the shoe – a nod to the location of mita’s Tokyo storefront. The “Prototype” is now available in-store and online for ￥16,800 JPY (approximately $179 USD).
